Solid role player, but at 23 the upside is minimal.

If he ends up being the closest thing we have to a breakout player something has gone terribly wrong.

Which…looks possible at the moment. Still early…still early…

If Sasser plays like our PG of the future, I'll be happy. I keep hoping all the burn we're getting for Killian is just about trading him when he's on a good run.

Would be wild if we tanked Ivey's trade value and relationship with the team to try to squeeze out a top-55 protected 2nd rounder out of Killian.

Umude :)

He scored 2 points in total all of last season so in the last game he improved his performance by 750%.

I've been checking Hawks boxscores and his numbers have been solid..... still still surprising to see him leading the entire league.

That said, he's excelling at a role there doing less with the ball and its paying dividends shooting 4.6 threes a game at a high percentage and 4.6 twos a game also at a high percentage... getting to the line a bit and making over 90% of his FTs as well.

He actually would pair well with Ausar and Stew in a forward rotation IMO as those guys help out with some of Bey's weaknesses. He doesn't pair well with Bojan because IMO they have similar weaknesses.

This. But my expectation is Duren. He is a beast, but that type of player just isn't as valable as elite perimeter players.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Why wasn't there a "none" option on the poll?

Knox had a nice first game back. We'll have to see how consistently he can shoot (but shooting consistency is an issue across the board with this roster).
