Unfortunately it looks like Ivey isn’t in our core. I think it’s just Cade Ausar Duren right now. We’ll find out how weaver feels. As long as killian is starting and is on the team, Ivey has no place on the roster in my opinion. Monty is wrecking him and it’s Weaver’s fault for keeping Killian.

I think that's a false choice for sure. Killian and Ivey isn't an either/or proposition any more than Sasser or Burks is with one of them. It's not like Ivey hasn't gotten any minutes at all. And Killian also has (correctly) gotten the fewest minutes of any of the starters.

I'm not sure that claim is supported by the evidence. I'm not saying he sucks, but "elite" is a high bar that I don't think he crosses.

Killian and Bey are misses. Stewart is okay for a 16th pick- mild hit. Cade and Ivey- the jury is out but the data isn’t positive.

Duren and Ausar are probable hits.

Collectively I think we’d have all expected a sure fire star from this many high picks and we don’t have one.

If he were an elite drafter we’d have a better team by now. It isn’t supposed to take THIS long. The “process” had better signs than this 4 years in, and Hinkie got fired for taking too long.

I'll add Sasser looks pretty good for where he was picked and Saben Lee and Livers were fine for where they were picked - nothing impressive. On and there was the big white dude too whose name I forgot. Yeah, he was fine. Wouldn't call any of the second rounders especially impressive "hits" though.

This franchise is dead as a doornail. Is it possible that they're worse than the 16 win team? I think it is.
Remember when we (and "we" includes me) thought that there's no way they only win 16 last season with Cade.... Well?

Last night is the first of many games that I'm not going to make time for at this rate, sad. I expected them to be bad this season but I at least expected some flashes of a good team and some things to be really positive about going forward. The only thing, literally, that there is to be even remotely excited about is Ausar Thompson and even he can't hit the broad side of a barn with his outside shot. Everything else is **** more or less. Cade, Ivey, Hayes, Stewart, Duren is injured most of the time and isn't really that good when healthy. There isn't one even average NBA player in that bunch right now. Losing culture continues to cast a darker and darker shadow over these players with every loss.

This draft is apparently horrendous as well so can't even look forward to that either. Rough
It seems like the last 13 or so years that we're paying the price for having two long Championship contention eras.

Bey isn’t a miss not sure what makes him a miss. He’s a role player. Killian is definitely a miss and the bey for wiseman trade was also a miss. But bey? He shoots well. We need him but he wouldn’t make us better imo. But he’s not a miss

Bey is a miss given how he played for us. We lost the right to claim anything he did after that when we traded him for James freaking Wiseman.

Getting an NBA rotation player in the teens is not a drafting miss.... lots of guys are out of the league that are picked int he mid to late teens before their four year rookie deal is up. ... but trading him for James Wiseman is a big swing and a miss for sure. I think Bey is an ok low MPG bench player kind of like how I think Bagley is an ok low MPG bench player. They're both looking like ideally 9th or 10th guys that come in and give you some offense.

If we hit a 20 game losing streak here (entirely possible) then someone's gotta be held responsible, and feels unrealistic for it to be Monty.
