Wasn’t Monte a trade? Or am I not remembering correctly. Either way I get your point

I was very surprised monte morris ended up with us, think it was a signing, the injury is probably why he did lol

We got Morris from WAS for a 2nd round pick

thanks for the facts. I guess I wondered why we got him for so cheap a 2nd, probbaly because of injury. I think/thought he’s a good player. I don’t even know if I know what a good player is anymore tho :(

Hearing reports recently that we turned down TWO 1st rounders for Bogey last season from a team in contention.

I have no idea if true…

But if true, I’m pissed

Not all FRPs are the same, but even if they are highly protected, seems like a trade we should have made.

It was probably something like:

Fournier + our pick back + the 2025 Bucks first we sent them in the Duren deal for Bojan and a 2nd rounder from us.

Still probably worth doing.

My defense of our decision not to trade Bogey last year was purely based on the assumption we couldn’t get an offer like that.

It was also based on the hope we’d be better next year.

And we know how that’s going…

The source from that potential trade is questionable at best.

Regardless, it would highly depend on the nature of those first rounders as to whether we should have done it.

Contender. Probably distant picks likely to be 25+ which are worthless imo. We don't need any more kids, we need real players like Bojan.

I’m really hoping Bogey replaces a non-shooter in the lineup to open up the floor a bit.

We aren’t a Bogey away from being a good or even average team, but it might make our offense a bit more watchable.

He needs to replace Stewart

That's a fairly safe bet, seeing as there are no shooters to replace. He's the only one on the team.

Someone's (or two's) minutes are getting slashed though, that's for sure.

From the article:

“It was funny, today we had a segment on five-on-five, and I was drawing up a play, and he was like, ‘Coach, can I do this?’ I said, ‘You do whatever you want,’” Williams said.

That would be my choice too. Ausar is more important defensively and has a higher ceiling- I personally think this is Stew’s ceiling. I like the kid but i think this is it for him.

bojan's ruled out for the game tonight but what he'll bring to the team when he does return is more than shooting. he gives us another player that can create off the dribble and just knows how make the easy play - with or without the ball. spacing isn't just being able to shoot 3 pointers, it's also moving around on the court to force the defense to defend you and a lot of our young guys don't do that well yet.
