The ONLY reason I can think of is that we're trying to showcase Hayes. There's no way Monty is that incompetent!

My theory is he has a weird grudge against Ivey. Management said wtf play him. Monty said nah yall owe me 66 mill. I do what I want. And now to prove a point he continues with this charade.

If he truly has a grudge against one of his players he's coaching he needs to fired asap!

I believe Troy's method to his madness is that he doesn't want Hayes to walk in free agency without any return. I mean we invested millions in this guy and selected him 7th overall in the draft. We already didn't extend him and we're currently one of the worst team in the league so the writing is on the wall. Troy has likely requested Hayes start to see if we could at least get a decent rotational player in a trade in return. Cause seriously, anyone with average basketball IQ knows Ivey is better than Hayes and doesn't deserve to be benched.

The most impressive factor with this team is how they keep hitting new lows.

With Duren out for presumably another few games, the starting lineup has to be:

Stew
Bojan
Ausar
Cade
Ivey

With Bagley, Hayes and Sasser off the bench. Stagger minutes so there's always two starters on the floor. Time for Monty to tighten the rotation and cut out the dead wood.

LOL

I think this undercuts Weaver. Arn, his son, Weaver, Stefanski?

Cap space is almost worthless in FA for us.. Joe Harris!
We need to trade expiring contracts for better players. So what if they have 2-3 years left on their contract? It's better than recycling our guys, having no chemistry.

Showcasing Hayes would be just as incompetent.

Not crazy at all. Skill supercedes age.

What's crazy is this board begging for him to be traded for over a year now.

What's crazy is that Bojan was consistently the first one down the court, while the under-22's just lollygagged their way back across midcourt. And he's old enough to be their dad.

Should I watch or just say no?
If I don't, there will be trouble.
If I watch, it will be double.
So, you gotta let me know.
Should I hang on or will it blow?

Even the Bally Sports app is stopping me from watching... damn!

I can't stand when coaches say "This is on me".. They don't mean it, and it's usually a slap at the players.. It's usually, "The effort was horrible. That's on me"
I like Sasser, but a guy can't play 5 minutes a game and succeed. Just don't play him at all or give him 15-20 (one day)
