That's what happens when the coach is killing your confidence. Meanwhile, Hayes and Livers who have no future continue to get forcefed minutes despite being complete zeros, both in the - column while Ausar was +3 btw. Also, Sasser getting no run now either just warming benches. Makes complete sense.
I wouldn''t mind the young guys being forced to earn their minutes if others were actually earning their minutes but that's not the case here...

Ausar with 8 minutes and a +3 while Livers gets 22 minutes and a -7
Sasser with 6 minutes and a +4 while Hayes gets 16 minutes and a -4
Livers and Hayes with a combined 5 points.

Somebody try to make sense of this. The Pistons have had a lot of dark eras since the "Going to Work" years but a 3-32 team that isn't interested in developing key young players has to be the worst by a longshot and this coach is a big part of it.

To all those trashing Ausar and now hoping he's traded, I can't wait until he's traded or Ivey for that matter and they thrive elsewhere. Then you'll see how detrimental this coach truly has been to young player development here.

Cade was 12 of 15 inside the 3pt line, and only shot 3 foul shots. What does that tell you about the way to use him? What does that tell you about the way they were defending him?

Only 3 assists. 1-7 from 3pt. All we had to do was keep letting him work his way inside - no help was coming from the GSW defense. Do that 30 times a game.

Worried he'll get worn out from so many touches? Have Ivey bring up the ball to give him a chance to read the defense and take a few breaths. Plant Bojan, and two of Ivey/Knox/Livers/Burks on the outside. Cade/Duren pick-and-roll 30 times. They literally have no center, and nobody that can stop Cade.

We had the answer, but we don't use it enough. Weren't we supposed to be driven by analytics in this new administration?

Enjoyable game to watch - the lineups are better the past few games.

Don't blame Stew just because his coach doesn't know that he should be a huge upgrade to Wiseman as 1st big off the bench rather than masquerading as a starter.

It's really Weaver's fault though. He needed to bring a starting PF in that was clearly better than Stew and he didn't.

It's my fault we lost, somehow.
I've had a long week, fell asleep early, woke up to go to bed and saw the last few minutes.
Apparently, Steph Curry did the same thing, only during the game.
It's all connected, somehow.

That also falls on Monty grinding down Cade on every possession. It's not much surprise considering Monty's game plan in PHX was give CP3, Booker, or KD the ball and clear out you scrubs type offense

I'm not a fan of the "fraud" label but Monty might be the closest to it in Pistons history

Sounds like Monty Williams post-game.

He managed to knock out CP3 for weeks... does that count for something?

Sounds like Monty Williams post-game.
If it had ended with: 'It's all connected somehow - and that's on me'.

Had it happened earlier, Cojo might have lit us up, lol.
