He looks like a real winning player/starter... I wonder where we'd be right now if the Kings too Ivey at #4 and we took Murray at #5. Our roster just feels like it would have been 100% better balanced if that was how it played out. You have to wonder who Weaver would have taken if he had the #4 pick in 2022.

Who knows what was actually true, but I recall JEIII saying often before the draft/lottery that the Pistons were super high on Murray. And of course, most of the fanbase was enraged by this lol.

I don't think he'd be as good here as he is in Sacramento just based on the fact that they're one of the best offenses ever with Sabonis, Fox, and tons of shooters, etc. Keegan gets endless open shots and bunny layups that we don't really generate. But he definitely would be a great fit with the glaring need for a stretch 4. Obviously Chet would be even better and Wemby even better than that since they also bring great rim protection, but that's how the lotto balls roll, I guess.

That is what the team should be doing. Make sure Killian has the ball, in his hands everytime down the court.

Should be playing around 35mpg, for maximum efficiency.

Why would I want to see Ausar more on the court? Him and Ivey are both #5 picks, which equals 10. A whole three more then Killian, which was selected #7.

Simple math.

We have what we have. And it’s not good enough.

Two meaningful changes would be firing Troy Weaver and firing Monty Williams.

But this team has the worst owner in the NBA. Despite Weaver's ineptitude in building this disaster of a roster, he's being charged with salvaging it -- no doubt with the proviso that he'll be fired unless he succeeds, a scenario that creates an incentive for panic moves. Despite Monty seemingly being out to sabotage the team, Gores talks about how "he's so good."
