Seriously, 26 days. This is stuff you talk about during the job interview. Nothing is changing.

Sounds like Langdon was happy to give himself a buffer year but Gores wasn't all about it.

It's reasonable to think after discussing being all in on Monty, Langdon wasn't impress with him and decided to move on. Better to move on now than 20 games into the season.

Not Monty and Langdon, Gores and Langdon. You don’t think that the subject of who was going to coach came up in the interview? Or rather that it took Langdon 26 days to decide he didn’t want Monty? How long is it going to take for him to sign a free agent? Six months?

Or you know they'd let Langdon actually let evaluate the situation with my Monty like they said they would do. 26 days? You know they didn't make it official until like June 1st, and how do you know if Langdon has even been in Detroit for that long? You seem to making stuff up to fit in the holes with what happened here to fit the narrative you're trying to push. You're not the only one.
I swear this fanbase always wants something to be angry at even if they got what they want.

Based on the reports, Gores absolutely let Langdon evaluate the situation with Monty, Langdon did, Langdon decided to keep him on a trial basis, Gores told him to only keep him if he was committing to him for 5 years, and Langdon (read Gores) decided to fire Monty. Seems like the too many cooks in the kitchen is continuing.
