Hopefully that isn't Borrego just saying that to goad Detroit into going the full Monty

He knows his ticket to sitting on a beach somewhere next to Monty with an extra 80 M's in his bank in one year is by turning down Tom Gores

It's a major move. Sweeney or Nouri seem like the best choices out of what's been said. Maybe Chris Quinn.

You know what I see? He watched the draft, and then did a HomerSimpsonbackintothebushes.gif

Not that it matters to me any, I want Sweeny, but I'm feeling a retread coming on, perhaps a name that has not been brought up yet...

Two guys who have been here before, consider me unimpressed.

For real.

The was nothing remotely impressive about the Casey era. Certainly not to the point of it seeming like a good idea to give someone from that regime the keys to the team.

Alright Pistons- you’ve got the chance to learn your lesson here.

Borrego is passing. DO. NOT. PERSUE.

Find someone who wants to be here. Someone with something to prove.

We need to avoid coach Q 2.0. This situation is just as bad if not worse than that period. We need a coach to connect to players but also not let them walk over him while holding players accountable. I don’t see that guy coming here.

I wanted Borrego but don’t view him passing as some catastrophe.

There are good candidates out there. I don’t think we know who those candidates are as fans. Hopefully our brass does.

Hold on. You logged on to post this, but have nothing to say about the Grimes trade? You threw a friggin ticker-tape parade when we got him. Now no reaction?

Part of my Fandom has died. I have watched the very start of Lukas career, and have actually watched more Mavs games then Pistons games since. I never thought it would be possible for me, but I've consumed so much basketball from other teams over the past five years, that when combined with the Pistons being just trash, ive become less inclined to get all worked up.(Save for the draft when I told someone to kiss my ass in the heat of the moment)

At least he's going to the Mavs. My side piece. Tony Hawk Jr coming to the Pistons makes me laugh.
