Will point out something that gets lost in the shuffle with this guy a lot:
- 3 college games
- has participated in 1 out of 4 training camps since being drafted, missing 1 bc of Covid and 2 because of injury
- for both the Warriors and the Pistons, after about 40-60 games with each team, his metrics/peripherals/impact all start going up. He's starting WAY in the negative so its not like declining the QO is a bad move at all, just an interesting note. He was effectively a high schooler when he was drafted
For that last point, check out darko.app - the site itself can't account for the injuries, so it assumes he's played 320 games instead of his actual 150, but as his Warrior career ended (60 games), his numbers started to rise. Dealt to Detroit, they want back into the tank, until the final 20 or so games of his 87 game Piston career, where they started moving up a bit again. It's April basketball on a lotto team, so its taken with a huge grain of salt, but shouldnt be entirely ignored
