We have 13 turnovers and are somehow only down 14. If you clean that up, offensively we are fine tonight.

Defense? We had a few nice minutes where bench guys got after it, but the rest of the time we were giving up open looks from everywhere. I counted at least 4 times when we had 2 guys closing out to the same shooter? It's like their first game playing together or something.

Sasser with a great half and our bench unit played even with them but our starters got toasted. We're shooting it really well tonight but will have to continue that, stop turning it over, and increase defensive intensity if we are going to give ourselves a chance in the 4th on this one.

If the Pistons were all on defense and the other team was on the other end of the court and shot ball from 90 feet away, I'd still have doubts about them securing the defensive rebound cleanly.

Yeah. Center is still a big problem. Unless they start getting consistent production either offensively or defensively (one out of the two) out of that position the team is going to struggle. I think it says something when the team went ultra small for a stretch and immediately improved.

LOL. sure. The worst team in the league last year is playing the champs.... but it's a scheduling loss? I guess if you mean "We're probably going to lose every game against every true contender on our schedule." They are just a massively better team than us right now. If we steal any against them this year it will be a miracle.

Realistically, I think we have 1 win against a team was over 500 when we played them. We're finally competing with the mediocre teams and beating the bad ones. That's where we are at and it's a big improvement.

We were right with them for 3 quarters. We just came out looking super flat and tired in the first quarter and that cost us the game.
