Wouldn't mind a temporary benching of Ivey to hopefully reawaken his game. He's looked bad the last two weeks.

That was probably the worst game I've seen this season. Tough lost!

Tough game overall. Defense started out strong and we were moving the ball nicely early on, but then we weren't hitting any shots and it's like they gave up moving the ball on offense after that.
Seems to be a common formula for us - we get easy shots, miss them, play hard defense and the other team makes tough shots, and then we get frustrated and fall apart.
Cade still played well overall but we need to get a more consistent scoring threat to pair with him. We have all these shooters now but when their shots aren't falling, we're crap.

This is why it's hard to get invested in this team, games like this, the one against Milwaukee, Memphis. I know Boston is the best team in the league but at least compete a bit. The Pistons are better but they're so far from competing for anything meaningful that you almost wonder what the point is, what the endgame is with this group.
You have Cade and Ivey is probably a keeper, Beasley a solid role player, Holland might be something, not sure Ausar who the hell knows then what is there? Langdon really has his work cut out for him to make this team relevant again.

I doubt you could get anything for Ausar rn.
Sure. Right now I don't think either is proper NBA material truth to be told.

I didn't check the math, but I saw a post where someone was asserting the following about Ron Holland's 3 pt shooting:
"Ron's first 19 games: 12% from deep.
Ron's last 7 games: 46% from deep."
Perhaps there's hope for the Pistons' teenage rookie. Given his athleticism and motor, if his outside shooting becomes a strength his path to some level of stardom seems assured.
It helps to find something positive from last night's drubbing.

The investment right now isn’t based on the idea that we’re contending this year. We’re not. It’s a discovery year

Interesting production out of Holland, bout all we can take out of this drubbing.

I mean you literally could not get anything for Ausar, because of his bloodclot issue. You really could not get a ham sandwich for him because he's just a liability.
