Off Topic: Verlander to retire a Tiger!

Tigers bringing in Justin for 25 so he can retire a Tiger.

Kind of proud he wanted to do that, also Tigers improved so much I think he was impressed with the direction and wanted to be a part of one last Motown playoff run.

Ditto. This would be nice at a good price (it's unclear how much Verlander has left approaching his mid 40s coming off an injury-plagued year), but the optics of it would be pretty cool. Haven't seen it reported anywhere though.

This website likes to make predictions and put them out as declarative statements in their headlines. They also have an article saying Bregman will sign with the Tigers in a similarly definitive way, and one that predicts Verlander signs with the Cubs.

I’ll again ask- please folks- don’t post on here without, at the very least, reading beyond the headline.
