Several times this season where a bench unit of Ausar + Paul Reed + Holland II have really gotten after it and make a run by causing havoc on the defensive end.

Too many missed FTs in this 4th quarter.

Good effort down the stretch, I’m glad JB let the bench guys finish it out

I like how Reed, Holland and Auser are going to end up outscoring Tobias, THJ and Duren.
Maybe were starting the wrong Front Court!
Eta: Outrebounded them as well and in less court time

Well that was the most fun loss I can remember, especially considering they went 3-1 on the road trip.

definitely, in a game we probably weren't going to out-offense our opponent we needed to show up on D and the group in the 4th quarter dug in on that end, you gotta reward them for that.
it sucks to lose but if you're building a culture (defense first) then it's just one loss to sacrifice long-term. i was hoping cade might get subbed in close to the end but then that would compromise that mission.
also, jokic is going to be jokic but murray and MPJ also went off, hard to win when 3 players score 90+ points themselves.

Re: #32 - Pistons@Nuggets - 9pm ET
Can't fault the team as a whole too much as they are at the end of a road trip and likely quite fatigued, and did their best to come back towards the end. The Nuggets seemed determined to make up for last night though.
Can fault that certain players continue to add very little, namely Tobias/THJ. Can put Fontecchio in that category too.
Surely it's only a matter of time before Ausar gets a starting spot. Before anyone replies with the "spacing" remark, THJ is shooting 28% from three over his last 20 games which is a pretty decent sample size to say he's also not providing spacing, and that is the only thing he is supposed to bring to the table.

We lost this game when JB took Cade and Ivey out the game and let Sasser run it. Gotta keep one of Cade/Ivey in at all times

Sasser had a +/- of 0 while Cade and Ivey were -11 and -17 respectively. It was Sasser and the bench crew that got us back into the game in the 4th quarter and avoided a true blowout.

I'm talking about at the end of the 3rd quarter when Sasser had two bad turnovers

After a horrible start, Philly is 7-3 in their last 10 and now just a half game behind us and Chicago for the 9/10 spots. They are going to for sure push one of us down. No one else is trying to make the play-in so its likely one of us or Chicago that are going to be 11th and one of us that are going to be 10th. Chicago might eventually be sellers as well giving us the 10 seed by default but that's TBD with what they do before the trade deadline.

Those 3 are a problem and are a major anchor for this team. I don't know how a team can compete over the long haul of a season with three of the worst starters at their respective positions in the lineup at the same time.

This isn’t a union job. Why are the guys with more seniority getting to start?
Okay, this is a union job. But not like that.

The game turned when the Refs let Russ do whatever it is he was doing.

Russ is goofy. It’s unfortunate that some people mistakenly view his unharnessed feminine energy as “passion”.
He’s the type to instigate and then cry to the refs.
