We’re fortunate to have escaped with a win.

Still, hard to be mad. We have won two games more than we did all of last year and the season isn’t half over.

A reminder that Killian Hayes and James Wiseman can lose to anyone at any time.

Why single them out, over half of last year’s roster is no longer in the league

Plus, there can never be enough bad things said about Monty Williams :nonono:

Don't forget Isiah Livers either. It really can't be overstated how dreadful Troy Weaver was - probably the two worst players in the league (certainly the two worst ones getting any kind of regular minutes in Hayes and Livers) plus a bunch of G-League guys. Not to mention Monty Williams having one of both of them in his starting lineup for a sizable stretch of the season. It's really no wonder the Pistons flirted with the worst record in league history for most of the season.

Most of the roster doesn’t play in the league.

Marvin Bagley is getting 8 minutes in limited appearances on one of the worst teams.

If it wasn’t intentional tanking, it was insanity lol

Crazy that of those 31 players on our roster last season, only 10 are getting regular NBA rotation minutes this season. And most of those 10 are our young core. The others are Quentin Grimes, Monte Morris and Shake Milton.

We didn’t play particularly well but the officiating was the worst I've seen all season

We looked absolutely terrible without Ivey. No secondary ball handler, no second scorer, no leader of the second unit. Good win though!

Livers and Hayes both played over 20 minutes a game. Hayes started like 30 games. Plus all the other stuff, and that’s how we were trying to become a better team??

This is from someone who spends way to much time on B-Ball reference:

When B-Ball reference has a very long list of players, they break it up with a second table heading somewhere in the middle that clarifies what each column is (player name, number, age, etc.) so readers don’t have to scroll all the way back up to know what they’re looking at in each square.

It’s pretty uncommon that they have to do that for a TEAM ROSTER over a single season. That really speaks to how much of a chaotic mess our roster was last year. So many trades, so many injuries and different call-ups. I believe we set a record for number of different players on the roster. And that’s not a good record to set.
