STFU with with one of the worst franchises in sports history finally having a good team chanting for their choking player at Pistons games instead of chanting for Cade.

This is a Pistons forum and you're talking about the Lions... you're doing the same thing you're complaining about.

I'm talking about chants during the Pistons post game shows.

As good as Goff is, you can’t afford to pay a QB that much when he has no mobility and struggles under any pressure.

If the Lions had a defense and the Lions won, these same whiners would be praising him.

The Lions had a Defense -- but half of it is on IR.

Coaches ran out of smoke and mirrors to cover all holes.

I agree. I was super concerned about the injuries on Defense and then when Anzalone came back against the Vikings, it was kind of fools gold. I thought Aaron Glenn might be able to work some more magic but the well ran dry.

I don’t want to seem like I’m piling on Goff but there’s a different dynamic in the playoffs and it’s hard when your elite QB that has a ton of cap space allocated and isn’t able to use his mobility to get out of pressure or scrap for a few yards with his feet.

It just makes the degree of difficulty that much higher when the circumstances have to be closer to optimal without the element of mobility.

Once Amik Robertson went down then Branch hobbled off the field, I knew the game was over.

I don't think people understand the Jared Goff chants. They're not just about Goff specifically. They're Detroit versus everyone chants. They're pride of Detroit chants. They're "we've been down a long time and now we're not anymore" chants. Goff just represents that. Haters can bury him and the Lions and Detroit even if they want to, but they're not going away. Tough night last night, but these Lions will be back.

There's some strong sports fans in here. Everyone knows availabiity IS the game. Jordan couldn't win anything without Pippen, if Pippen was injured, Jordan wouldn't have the same legacy flexing 6 for 6. It's a team game. Teams win championships not players. Lebron couldn't beat Curry wihout Kyrie and Love. Curry couldn't beat Kawhi without Klay and KD. I know so much sports I can keep going and going.

Availability is the most underrated skill of all time. I won't keep giving examples because it's obvious to any real sport fan. So why do people expect to win without a defensive roster on the field? either they are uneducated (bandwagon fans) or they're losers in their own lives and wanted to feel some winning regardless of the circumstances.

The Goff chants? End them now. He's not that guy and I think everyone can tell now. This isn't Stafford or Lamar or Mahomes or even Daniels. Daniels deserves those chants, not Goff. Why? Try carrying a team on your back like Cade is doing every night. Cade doesn't deserve those chants yet either, try winning a play in game first let alone a Playoff series.

Cade isn't that guy yet but mark my words, he will be VERY soon. Of course, need Ivey to get to Playoffs. Seems familiar? Let's get Hutchinson back first before expecting to win.
Defense wins championships
