This was a good win, even if they got a little too playful near the end. The Houston win seems even more impressive once Cleveland followed them there and lost. A lot of pleasant surprises this season.

Hawks lost again! And so did Indiana and Orlando (and now a full game ahead of the Magic/Hawks)

TO's or not Cade has outplayed several guards in head to head games. There should be no question if your wondering whether to add him on a All Star squad.
Im not eating crow on how well the team has gelled after adding the improved spacing, I was expecting great improvement. Where I was wrong was wirh my assesment of Stews worth. Im sold, he is solid and Bickerstaff understands how to use our roster. Thats been somewhat of the secret sauce.

Moving Stew back to the 5, has really paid dividends. His defense at the rim is absolutely outstanding. I've rewatched the Pistons/Rockets game, and players don't want to go anywhere near the damn rim when Stew is in the game, and when they do, they shy away from him.breezypeezy wrote:TO's or not Cade has outplayed several guards in head to head games. Stew, amazingly, has turned into a **** WALL when he's in the paint, and the Pistons are reaping the rewards. They have a damn good thing going at the 5 spot between Duren/Stew, and shouldn't change a damn thing.
Can you imagine pairing Duren/Stew with a shot-blocking 4? I mean, holy crapola. It could never happen, but imagine JJJ next to those two. Talk about Wallace@Wallace all over again.
That kind of 4 is as rare as hens teeth, so I'm not counting on it, but perchance to dream...

Start whispering in JJJ’s ear. He played at State, he’d come to a winner.
Memphis is deep and good, though. We’d need a Ja suspension and some other stuff to destabilize that team.
