TL is really relying on this guy to fix a lot of the Pistons shooting deficiencies.

Can't be worse than previous shooting coach and at least there's some positive results from Vinson on the board.

I hope Vinson has a positive effect on the team, but it feels like people are overestimating the effect a single shooting coach has on a team. Remember when Dave Hopla was a huge get who was going to change our team's shooting woes?
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

Interesting shooting stats so far. https://www.nba.com/stats/team/1610612765/shooting?Season=2024-25 A slight improvement from last season. More points in the pain less than 5ft. 3pt % is up. Credit to Fred? :D

2024-2025 season:
47.2 FG%

Lots of cringy Ausar 3-pointer posts in here. Thank gawd we finally have coaching that reminds/teaches folks that there's more to good & winning basketball than 3-point shooting.
