Yeah, I am really enjoying this team. I'm not here for all the "this guy sucks" or "we need to upgrade this guy" talk. Just enjoying what we have and how close-knit and fun this team is right now.

He's making the star leap and reaping the benefits

And he’s already 3rd Team All-NBA quality with leadership intangibles off the charts. Top 20 player already, top 10 in sight, top 5 potential.

Honestly, I think he's 2nd Team quality. I wouldn't take 4 other guards over him this season (especially once you factor in the 65 game requirement).

Also, I like Dunn’s game. He’s such an animal on defense. Shame he never developed a jump shot because he reminds me of Jrue otherwise.

Just because chemistry is hard to quantify and nebulous and fragile doesn’t mean it isn’t real. We’re seeing the benefits of it now. Happy guys rooting for each other, playing unselfishly, playing well.

Random aside — Duren really is a nice passer. It’s not just stupid DHO isht like we ran for Drummond that one year to get him some stats and make him happy. JD can throw lobs, thread the needle, see the openings, all that. Really cool.

Yeah, I was kind of taken by Duren seeing some openings before Cade did and passing before Cade realized he should be cutting. Duren has some legit offensive awareness.

I was starting to type a post that top 5 could be out of his sights because there's more athletic and bigger people with equal skillsets, but then I remembered that he's a natural leader with a great understanding of the game who works really hard so I made this post instead.

I am not sure there are 5 players in the NBA with a better offensive mind than Cade. LeBron, Jokic, Trae, then it's all debatable, imo, including with Luka.
