We lost to Spurs in the finals on the ROAD in games six and seven

We won game 6 ON THE ROAD and were close to winning game seven if it weren't for our bigs fouling out and not developing our bench players to come in and play.

the next year we get closed out by Miami on the ROAD

We had home court advantage... didn't do us much good.

then move to last year we lost to the Cavs in game six on the ROAD.

We had home court advantage, once again... didn't really mean much.

Lets face it that series will come down to game seven and for you to say you would want these Pistons on the road is not a smart thing to say. Role players play way better at home and trust me you dont want a game seven where eddie house, rondo, big baby, and perkins are on the home floor feeling comfortable like Gibson did to us last year.

Home court is a big advantage in game seven i dont care if it makes us more focused in games 1-6 we need to have our role players Stuckey, Maxiell, Afflalo, Hayes feeling more comfortable in that big game.

Wishing us to be on the road for a close out game is not smart. Our track record proves it.

Our track record proves that we haven't had the mindset or bench to backup our cocky starters with or without homecourt.

And you forgot 4 yrs ago, we won the EFC and Finals without homecourt.

You can make all the excuses in the world but when it comes down to it having a close out game at home is what we need. My point was we have lost on the road in the playoffs the last three years we need as many home games as we can get.

My mistake i didnt mean to write games six as a loss in Spurs. But almost winning game seven didnt get us a trophy. We need to have the close out games at home because we havent been able to win the big games on the road. Plus make excuses saying it was our bench and everything i agree with you that it was a weak spot but dont make excuses for Billups he played like crap and he was a bigger part in losing to the cavs than the bench was.
