Atlanta Hawks guard Mike Bibby suffered a right ankle injury in the third quarter of Tuesday's 122-93 loss to the LA Lakers.
Bibby was acquired by the Hawks in a trade on Saturday. He joined the team from Sacramento in exchange for guards Anthony Johnson and Tyronn Lue, forward Shelden Williams, center Lorenzen Wright and a second-round pick in the 2008 draft.
Bibby has also been hampered by a thumb injury this season that has limited him to 16 games, and is averaging 13.5 points and five assists. He scored just five points in his Hawks' debut.
