A Stat who plays defense in his prime is one of the most dominant players in the game.

Yeah I know...He'll be a beast if he takes care of his body and continues to work on his overall game...Our opponents better watch out!..

Dre is already a much more fluid player and has a semblance of decent form on his shot whereas Dwight as a rookie took jumpshots about as often as he uses condoms.

I think Jodi made the best comp so far. Dre's just got to put in the work to get there.

Nice to see you drop by bro, how's MKG turning out for you guys...You know we play against the Bobcats on Sunday right?..

MKG is a lot more NBA ready than I thought he'd be. His handles, instincts, and transition game, along with his trademark D, is enough to put him close into stud territory. I think the big question now is, can he get better on offense, i.e. get a competent jumpshot. I think he will but his mechanics are just awful right now. If he's not taking a million jumpshots with MJ during the summer than he might never be anything more than a really good defensive SF. But he's helping the 'Cats out a lot with D and all the glue guy work, we just need to find a Batman so he can flourish as Robin.

Looking forward to the game. We're tinkering with our offense (worked against Chicago) so hopefully that goes well but we're still really thin in the frontcourt so y'all should outrebound us handily. Might get a nice "battle of the undersized PFs" in Maxiell and Jeff Adrien.

I'm watching Howard play like a bum vs the Clippers right now, and it might just be coincidence, but every time I've decided to watch a Laker game this year, Howard has been unimpressive to me. He still gets huge numbers, but his impact on games is not what it used to be in ORL. Maybe its because he's got so much talent around him, its harder for his play to stand out, but I have to say that I agree with the OP. Watching Drummond, he's having bigger impact on games than Howard this year, from what I've seen.

I don't care if Howard is a lock HOF and Drummond is just a 19 yr old rookie. I'm just calling it like I see it. If you put all that out of your mind and just watch both of them, Drummond is having more impact than Howard this year.

All this does is prove stats ain't everything. The fact his stats compare this well to Dwight Howard shows just how insane Drummond's stats actually are!

Considering the use of advanced stats and all that jazz it's surprising Drummond isn't getting more minutes...but slow and steady wins the race.

I appreciate the fact someone had the balls to post this...
