He looked like Ray Allen circa '08. And Bynum looked like Rondo.
Knight: 31 pts on 12-16 FG. ZERO asts
Bynum: 12 asts, 2 TOs.
Knight looks like he could be a heck of a SG, if we elect to move him there. Not only his shooting ability, but he's developing into one of the peskier perimeter defenders in the league.
They finally put him on Redick at the end and JJ airballed his last 3.
Knight got a total of 3 points off of a Bynum drive and kick. The other 3 was from a broken play. Meanwhile, he scored 25 by being aggressive and looking for his shot with ball in his hands at the PG position. He looked like a scoring PG to me. Bynum is wildly inconsistent, plays terrible defense, and is a ball hog who tries to play hero ball at the worst possible time.

Just because Knight scored with the ball in his hands, and happened to be playing the PG postion doesn't mean he's a scoring PG.
SG's take over and create their own shots too. To me Knights a lot closer to the mold of a Ray Allen than a Westbrook or Rose.
I really don't know why ppl insist that he has to be a PG offensively. As if PG is such a hard position to fill. If anything, SG is the harder position to find talent at today. There's tons of great PGs in the league today. Not that great SGs.

Again, Knight hit one 3 off of Bynum's penetration and the other 3 was from a broken play. 25 of his points were from him attacking with the ball in his hands and hitting the midrange jumper or taking it all the way. He looked WAY more like a Westbrook than a Ray Allen (obviously not nearly as talented). Your just trying to find any scrap of evidence to support the use of him as a SG. Also, we have seen Knight disappear in the past when he is off the ball. Taking the ball out of his hands would be foolish. There is no reason to do it, especially since he is really playing great at the moment from the PG spot.

I don't know what to tell you. He looks more like a SG to me. I don't have to provide any evidence to you for that to be my opinion.
SGs score with the ball in their hands too. You don't have to be completely off the ball to play SG. I never said that he had to do that, like he can only be a spot up shooter. But he's rarely shown the ability to run the offense AND score in the same game, which is kind of a prequisite to being a scoring PG.
Its always "either or" with Knight, and imo his better strength is scoring/shooting, not running offenses. We are better when he's scoring/shooting well. The games he's had 7 asts, 2 TOs and only 10 pts, weren;t resulting in wins early in the year. So it only makes sense that I see SG as his best position as of now.
Of course he's very young and could develop the ability to do both score and run the offense, but if we're just talking right now, he's better suited at SG to me.
0 asts and 3 TOs, its hard to say he played a great PG game tonight. 12-16 FG and 31 pts - thats a SG game.
