He's also super skinny. Maybe.

Brewer is a good wing to use as a backup plan. He'd be an upgrade to Singler because of his defense, but there are still a bunch of other options, in free agency or the draft, that I'd rather try for first.

I like Brewer's game. He'd be a good fit here. I'm not sure Dumars identifies these guys like he used to...as evidence of trading Afflalo for nothing.

Corey Brewer is a bum, he's only playing with high intensity because it his contract year...We need to be focused on getting a starting caliber 2, another back-up big, and probably a back-up PG...

Yeah, he's shown flashes this year. Jrue Holiday's raw stats from last year were even worse than Knight's this year. He's taken a huge step forward this year, and I think we have to have enough faith that Knight will have a breakthrough. The dude had a 4.3 gpa in high school and was a junior credit wise at kentucky in his first year. I know real iq =/= basketball iq but he has all of the intangibles you could ask for: Fearlessness(willing to take big shots), good work ethic and he has no maturity issues.

If I didn't know better from reading this board at times I would guess that Knight is putting up something like 8/3 on terrible percentages.

As for Brewer, I would be all for signing him to a reasonable deal because he plays defense and can shoot, but I don't see him as a starter. I think another poster has really been pushing Afflalo(cowology maybe?...not sure off the top of my head) and I agree completely. I think Afflalo would be the ideal SG here.

I think Brewers a decent option, id rather have Brewer/Tony Allen and Redick on 3 year deals at 5 or 6 mil a year each than Gay at 18 or Ellis, Evans or Mayo for 11/12+ million per year on what are probably going to be 4 or 5 year deals. especially if we can get a scoring wing in the draft like Mac or Bazz.

I always liked Brewer and thought he would have a better career than he's had. I thought he could have the same type of career at SG that Noahs had at C. But it never happened. His stats are below avg for a starting SG. Are we talking about him as a backup or starter? As a backup I'd rather just go with Singler. As a starter I think we can do a lot better.

Hes not a complete bum but hes not a NBA playoff team starter. I dont think he has ever played 30mpg. Hes the Nuggets WIll Bynum in that he has some super games and then he has a 2 week stretch that he disappears. I think hes fools gold.

I have had him on my fantasy teams off on and over the last 3 yrs. Hes just been inconsistant.

Id only expect him to play 20/24 minutes a night, we need to add some perimeter defense. it seems like we're always getting torched by opposing wings, it would be nice to have someone who could help put the fires out. Tony Allen or Otto Porter would probably be my first choices but I think Brewer would work.

lets not forget that he plays in Denver for coach karl.

Denver is always one of the fastest pace teams in the NBA.

Coach Karls defense allows players to trap, switch and play the passing lanes. Players are encouraged to gamble and cheat off of there man. Karl has coached steals leaders several times. It doesnt make his teams great on defense.

if monroe and drummond will play togerther they need great shooters. spurs had had ginebili, bowen and parker(mid-range shooter). our first aim should be to find shooter wings

We'll need a backup PF that can defend the P&R and shoot with range.... only about 20 min p/game
