Wait you mean the same Bobcats that have a legitimate Point Guard of the future? :P

Although to be fair, we have NOTHING when it comes to bigmen.

dude GTFO, your franchise is a joke

Seems highly uncalled for given that it was simply a friendly jab. Also the bobcats might be a joke, but at least we didn't self destruct from one of the best teams in the east to one of the worst. Not to mention we played you guys like a fiddle in our most recent trade.

Self destruct? They made a conscious decision to start the rebuil early, knowing that team had reached its peak and wasn't winning anymore championships.

When you look at the Pistons today, and then look at some of the other teams from that era that refused to rebuild, like BOS and DAL, and idk how anyone can say the Pistons didn't make the right move by rebuilding early.

They now have 2 of the best young big men in the league, $35 mil in capsace, and just adding one of the best PGs in the league. You wait too long and you end up like BOS/DAL with bunch of old players on huge contracts and no better chance than the Pistons to win another championship anytime soon.

This franchise is in GREAT shape right now.

btw this thread turned out to be very time appropriate, given we now find out the answer to the poll 3 days later, and that its looking like Knight will be a SG

Calderon is 31. He could very well just be here to teach BK the position

True. Either way its going to be a positive. Either Knight learns the position and takes back over at PG. Or he thrives at SG, and we have that position filled instead.

The way I see it, we were going to need either a PG or a SG eventually, so it doesn't matter to me which position Knight takes. Whichever one gives us the best chance to win is all I care about. And given his TO problem its hard for us to win right now with him at PG.

Thats where Calderon is really going to make us better. Our turnovers have been the main cause of our losses this year. If Calderon eliminates that, it should result in a lot more wins. Good timing on the trade too. We play Irving on Friday and Nash on Sunday.
