As soon as Drummond returns most of this nonsense goes away. He has that big of an impact. Not that lockerroom issues shouldn't be addressed. I still want the likes of CV, Max, Bynum & Stuckey gone. But you don't hear the same sorta stuff outa Knight & Monroe with the Big Penguin out there covering up mistakes and making us somewhat competitive. We'd be playing .500 ball right now if he were healthy.

Monroe needs to look into the mirror before blasting anyone for effort after last night. Brandon has a right to bitch because he always plays all out. Moose on the other hand is a lazy bitch. He pulled this same **** last year and kept getting his punk ass benched for an ancient Ben Wallace down the stretch of games. Unfortunately we don't have anyone that we can put out there in his place because Dumars is a bum.

This team is dependent on a rookie to "cover up" for their mistakes on defense. How sad is that?

If only our other legit big had any passion for playing defense...

Sad perhaps. But am I wrong?

You are not wrong at all.

This may not be a popular opinion but Monroe needs to step it up. Every big man(not named Dirk or Love) should be able to protect the rim. We cannot and should not rely on just one player to do that for the team.

monroe is having a tough time cuz he is the only one who gives a **** about winning. when drummond comes back im not saying hes going to save our team but hes going to make us a whole hell of a lot better then the type of ball we play now.

Umbra wrote:No, he doesn't. Joe Dumars has said at the last few drafts that Detroit is only looking at high character individuals. Cousins doesn't fit that, therefore he doesn't have a Piston attitude.

That said, I hope Stuckey is gone asap, because is a bitch. Not a high character person at all.

Man, I'm not trying to hear that lame "high character" sh#t...That's the main reason why we have soft players on our team now...Middleton getting pushed around by Williams during the Jazz game, nobody stepping up to Thomas Robinson when Jerebko was elbowed, nobody pushing MWP around when he got into that scuffle with Knight...I want talented players who aren't lame and scary, forget that "high character" bs...

Moose isn't the only one who cares about winning. BK7 has proven through all imperfections of his still developing game that he cares about winning. His heart is bigger than the rest of the team combined. I appreciate Moose for putting cats on blast.

I appreciate him for sounding the alarm and making some sort of attempt to deflect attention away from Knight and put himself under fire. Still he has to take responsibility for his porous defense. Lack of athleticism is no excuse. Neither Mahorn nor Laimbeer could jump over a bench, but they both played the toughest brand of D the league has seen.

It is time to clean house. We need to cut ties with our failed experiments and half committed minimally talented low value players and start building a team capable of competing. This team disgusts me like the Tmac Pistons.
