Rodney Stuckey + Slava Kravtsov + #5 pick for Rajon Rondo.

Detroit buy a pick in the 20's for 3 million and trade Kyle Singler + the pick + the #35 future 2nd for a late lotto, mid teen pick. We draft for Indiana.

Once FA is open we trade the pick + Jonas Jerebko + a 9.5 mil TPE for Danny Granger.

We trade Charlie Villanueva + Brandon Knight for Eric Gordon.

At this point this is what we got.

Eric Gordon $14,283,844
Danny Granger $14,021,788
Rajon Rondo $11,954,545
Greg Monroe $ 4,086,454
Andre Drummond $ 2,462,400
Khris Middleton $ 788,872

$47,597,903

We offer Tyreke Evans a 4 years 38.5 million (it's the max we can offer) - He is capable of start at PG/SG/SF and is an insurance in case any of the 3 goes down.
Try to sign Brandan Wright for 1 million and promise him decent minutes (it's about the same he is making this year, we can't offer more than that. Sadly)

Hire Larry Brown since we need a respectable head coach to fill the bench with minimum salary veterans. Considering we have 5 borderline all stars at the 5 starter positions and an excellence 6th man, this should be doable.

Offer Billups and Sheed a chance to retire in Detroit fighting for a championship and playing for Larry Brown.
Offer Grant Hill a chance to retire where he started and working with a good medical staff while contending.
Offer Kenyon Martin a chance to retire in Detroit, where he should.
Offer Stackhouse a chance to retire where he had his best years.
Offer Greg Oden a chance to play for a good franchise and a contender with a good medical staff and enough veterans to keep him in line.

Eric Gordon $14,283,844 $14,898,938 $15,514,031
Danny Granger $14,021,788
Rajon Rondo $11,954,545 $12,909,091
Greg Monroe $ 4,086,454 $ 5,479,934
Andre Drummond $ 2,462,400 $ 2,568,360 $ 3,272,091 $ 4,267,426
Khris Middleton $ 788,872 $ 915,243 $ 1,181,348

$47,597,903

Tyreke Evans $ 9,400,000 $ 9,776,000 $10,152,000 $10,528,000
Brandan Wright $ 1,000,000 $ 1,040,000 $ 1,080,000

Greg Oden $ 884,293 $ 915,243 $ 980,431
Chauncey Billups $ 884,293
Grant Hill $ 884,293
Jerry Stackhouse $ 884,293
Rasheed Wallace $ 884,293
Kenyon Martin $ 884,293

$63,303,661

Andre Drummond (32)/ Rasheed Wallace ( 8)/ Greg Oden
Greg Monroe (32)/ Brandan Wright (20) / Kenyon Martin (4)
Danny Granger (32)/ Grant Hill (6) / Khris Middleton
Eric Gordon (32)/ Tyreke Evans (32) / Jerry Stackhouse
Rajon Rondo (32)/ Chauncey Billups (10)/

Finally offer Kander a big raise because he will work overtime.

I didn’t read the entire thread but if you’re going to hire Larry Brown to coach this team you should keep Knight. We all know that Brown can bring the best out of a PG.

The Orlando Magic? Are you still crying because Dwight left to the Lakers?

I am not crying, but still miffed at David Stern for helping Dwight force the Magic into only dealing with the Lakers. I am sure many Pistons fans including me would do the same if something similar happened to you. As for my signature and avatar, it is my way of showing displeasure to the situation. I could only imagine what we would see on this board if the same happened here. Then, you would be crying yourself.

Anyways, I was referencing how your off-season plan would be perfect for the imaginary world of NBA 2k13.

As for the Pistons, I was in Detroit for all their championships, bro. And, went to many games while posting here for 10 years. Heck, a Pistons poster here even sold me face value lower bowl tickets to watch Lakers/Pistons game the year after the Pistons won and I vacationed in Detroit. I am a fan of many sports and multiple teams. Where were you when we were celebrating the last Ship here on RealGM.

I'd rather have Josh Smith at 11 mill which would fill a huge need than trade for an undersized, overpaid, underperforming 2, get laughed off the phone with Boston, and overpay a sixth man (again) with a near max deal. I can't even comment how vets would take min deal to join a lotto team.

The issue isn't with having Smith on our team...the comical part is signing Josh Smith at 11 mil.

News flash fellow piston fans: Smith will not even consider signing with us for anything less than the max. Even if we offer him the max, he still has better options...like remaining in Atlanta, getting paid far more, and potentially attracting other FAs, or going to the Rockets for example.

His agent would cease negotiations with us if we offered 11 mil/per.
