Did You Know: Teams over the luxury tax threshold don't get to spend the full MLE!

So ring chasers (who are usually 10-year veterans who have made plenty of money in the NBA) will have to sacrifice money...

IMO a young guy (let's say 22-26) who has never made HUGE money in the league would be more inclined to take a $6 million per season contract for the next 4 years...

when that contract was over the young guy would be 30 years old or less... he'd then go chase rings
