This is a point guards league now. I've seen what having a guy like Steph Curry can do for a team. I'll take that with Burke (he's not curry but he's a LEGIT PG).
I don't love Wilson Chandler but no one who watches him could deny that he's a good, above average NBA player. He's better than any wing we've had since Rip on offense, plus he plays SF and he can get his own shot, which are our two biggest needs. He averaged 18/7 per 36 this year, he's got good size, and he makes MLE-level money (just finished the 1st year of a 5/35 deal). That's a very nice package altogether. Who do you see that we could get at 11th in the draft that would be better? I'd bet good money that Chandler would be better on the Pistons for the next 4 years than any wing we'd draft (though I'll concede that he would make 2-3x's as much money).
Also, Burke is nothing like Curry is nothing like D Rose is nothing like Ty Lawson etc. I like Burke but we should only pick him if he's the BPA. Steph Curry is killing it on GSW now because he's quick, smart, and is one of the best shooters ever. Jarrett Jack is using a totally different skillset en route to a nice playoff run. Burke will be a completely different player, and he's more like Jack than Curry (though he should have a better pick n roll game).
