Drummond representing the Pistons at the lottery

Will Drummond bring us some luck? I like the idea of him looking Stern in the eye and telling him to give us the #1 pick :-)

It's interesting that they keep sending last year's first round pick to these things. Every year, the last rookie is the new "face of the franchise!"

Drummond's too nice of a guy to stare down Stern. And seriously, I don't think there's a person within the NBA that can out-mad dog Stern. Seriously, Ron Artest with a knife to Stern's throat would probably still feel intimidated by him.

Its kinda weird but I almost would rather us have the 7th pick than the 2nd or 3rd. We tend to overthink when we have options.

haha i sadly agree, we do better with the players other teams are too dumb to pick. Trick is to not be the "other team"

I agree. Detroit seems to be "smarter" when its options are limited to one or two guys.

The fact a lot of the fan base feels "better" about us having less options says a lot about the confidence - or lack thereof - we have in Joe Dumars and his staff!
