Re: Amnesty CV?
What's the cap floor and the deadline to amnesty? I feel like if we can amnesty CV while being above the cap floor - meaning we've used the money we have (hopefully properly), then we do that. If he is our way of staying above, then don't do it, then have some cap space next summer with Stuckey and CV gone.

Re: Amnesty CV?
Simply put a 8.5 mil TPE is going to get you a much better player in trade than an expireing CV31
Jonas and the TPE can get you a former allstar or an overpaid/oft injured player like a Eric Gordon.
CV31 has very little trade value.

YES! Its time to spend a little and start winning! thats what the owner is meant to do. crowds are almost empty, lets try and have a team that might sell out a few times.

FYI: You can't combine a TPE with a player.

Re: Amnesty CV?
As much as I dislike CV's game, there is no reason to amnesty him unless we know exactly how we're going to use the cap space. If it's to sign a great FA that we couldn't get otherwise, go ahead and do it. If not, his game complements Drummond's well....keep him around until his contract expires then go after a version of him that actually plays defense.
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.
