We desperately need somebody who makes the players around him better, not somebody who will iso in a "sparkplug" type role and his style of play has been somewhat redundant with the guys already on our roster. He'd be a great pickup for a number of other teams.

Agreed. I hope we sign a different veteran PG to backup Knight. Perhaps one capable of pushing him for the starting spot. Like Devin Harris, perhaps.

That said, given the rumors of Calderon and Bynum possibly coming back, I'd rather Bynum's rumor proving true over Calderon's.

I'm glad to see that giving away a weakly protected first for this cap space is finally going to pay off. Ugh.

this off-season just keeps getting better, I honestly don't think I can stomach another 2 or 3 years of watching Bynum play basketball.

if we didn't have Dre, I think id be giving this team the same treatment I gave the Lions during the last two Millen years and forget they exist until this regime of buffoons are gone.

Not super upset with resigning Bynum bc it will prob be a very cheap contract and he's ALRIGHT off the bench just pay for what he is a poor mans Nate Robinson.

I bet Dumars wants him back as a backup to Calderon or Jack. I feel like Knight will be seeing most of his minutes at SG, unless Cheeks feels strongly otherwise.

As for Will, I'd welcome him back at a low cost. He had good chemistry with Andre.

And how many of those can we expect on a nightly basis? I dig the chemistry too, but you gotta be able to do more than just that. And while our PG last year may have sucked at it, there are other options out there.

This wouldn't be terrible news, but certainly wouldn't excite me either. I wasn't sitting here going "damn, I sure do hope we bring Will Bynum back!"

And then Bynum didn't say yes in time so he started talking to Billups.
