No way in hell Portland accepts this. Lillard is a game changer

I'm pretty much against moving MOnroe, but for Lilliard (or LMA)? Especially throwing in Batum? I'd be tempted to say yes...

How I saw the values:

Monroe > Lillard
Knight/Stuckey < Batum
Singler ~ Leonard (basically added to balance both rosters)

Monroe, Knight, Stuckey, Jerebko
for
Batum, Matthews, Leonard

Amnesty Villanueva.
Sign Teague.

C - Andre Drummond / Meyers Leonard
PF - Josh Smith / Tony Mitchell
SF - Nicolas Batum / Kyle Singler / Khris Middleton
PG - Jeff Teague / Will Bynum
SG - Wesley Matthews / Kentavious Caldwell-Pope

Batum and Matthews have sick 3 point shots

Monroe is a great player, but he can't lead or carry a team, and I think Lillard is a player that can take teams far. You wouldn't trade Tony Parker for David West

Pete- Portland trades their reigning ROY, Lillard, and their high quality 2-way small forward for Monroe and Knight?

I don't see this happening. I would happily do it on Detroit's end.

Wow.

Sorry Pete. This one's a stinker. Not only do you have them giving up Lillard when they really don't get anyone of his value in return, but you've got them coughing up the very valuable Batum as well.

Ouch.

yeah Lillard is pretty untouchable, Monroe is good but Lillard is a franchise player

This one won't even fly on our board.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

How about Monroe and Knight for Lillard and Joel Freeland (filler)? This seems more fair.

Lillard/KCP/SF (Singler/Middleton/FA)/ Smith/Drummond

I'd do Lillard and Leonard for Monroe and Knight. Leonard becomes useless once Monroe arrives but no way Portland does it.
