That's the thing, we're still gonna have to account for Moose next Summer and then eventually Drummond as well. How we structure our payroll moving forward could prove to be *very* important.

I think this was our off-season to make the big signing. Now we have to use the CV/Stuckey expirings before they expire otherwise they'll be lost to the Moose raise/extension.

Stuckey is both our best guard at the moment and also not good enough (or still young enough) to hope he breaks out, so is not part of our long term plans.

As long as he isn't being put in the game in a redundant role with Bynum and camping in the corner shooting his lowest percentage shot, he will be fine. His contract is not bad either. At the moment, assuming Frank doesn't mind control Mo Cheeks, he will help us win games and will increase his trade value. At the moment, there is no way Stuckey has trade value after all of his stats plummeted last season.

He should be given a chance to succeed with Knight like during the lockout season. However, there is almost zero chance we get Stuckey back next season. I'm sure he is tired of his role here and of getting passionately hated on for random crap by fans. A trade is in the best interest for him and the Pistons.

CV is our stretch 4 if you lose him we must replace him with another one. Stuckey is actually better than Knight at PG and probably better than KCP at the 2 right now so I don't know why you would want to get rid of him for nothing.

Does this board have a salary cap guru?

Salary for 14-15 =

Singler, Middleton, Knight, Drummond, Jerebko, K.C.P = approx $15 mil

Assume Josh Smith = $15 mil....

Assume Monroe gets something like $10 mil....

Assume Bynum and Datome = $5 mil

Mitchell and Siva = $1 mil

Drummond, Monroe, Smith, K.C.P, Knight, Mitchell, Jerebko, Singler, Middleton, Bynum, Datome, Siva = $46 mil

Isn't the cap $58 mil this off-season? Even it doesn't rise we'll have money to spend... unless the numbers I have posted are way off
