Rondo, Smith, Drummond, and Monroe is a lot better than just Rondo/Smith/Drummond. For those thinking that foursome would never work without shooters, who knows maybe by 2 yrs from now Monroe and Dre will both have consistent jumpshots.

or we could get someone better than Rondo.

Its why Monroe/Drummond's development is everything.

There's only a few PGs in the league better than Rondo. They are all locked up on longterm deals and likely wouldn't come here anyways. The only reason we have a chance at attracting a PG of Rondo's caliber is because Smith is friends with him. Let's not get greedy.

Rondo is a darn good PG thats for sure, but youll see his talent level off without the perfect meshes w/ his skillset that were KG & PP.

By 2015 we could have 3 All Stars & with Drummond potentially a Dwight Howard esk player by that point. That would be 1 of the biggest talent attractions out there. The days of us needing connects to sign a player are coming to an end with the talent we have.

Monroe is in Orlando to help mentor the younger players, and they have Sheed working with Monroe and Drummond while down there. He also said we are still interested in Rondo, but not without losing our core pieces. He was chatting with Vince Ellis, and they basically agreed that Josh Smith wants to play the 3, and any Rondo speculation was based off of our expirings, which Boston won't likely ever agree too.

well this is good news, but Im curious to see what we can net with our expirings. It doesnt look like we can get much, however.
