Not that it would ever happen in a million years, but you wouldn't trade Knight for even Kobe Bryant? What is it with you and Knight? Are y'all related?

I wouldn't trade knight for a 37 year old kobe who is near the end of his career.

^ That. Plus he's coming off an injury, cost $30+ million and can't seem to play effectively with anyone the Lakers try to pair him with. Why ruin our team for that albatross?

I'm not saying Knight is untouchable by any means. I'm saying I want no part of Kobe Bryant.

 No, we're not related and no I wouldn't trade Knight for Kobe(I'm a huge Kobe fan)...I'm just not ready to give up on a 20yr old PG yet...Knight has a problem with consistency, everything else is fine...I don't know why Piston fans haven't noticed that yet...

You guys are WAY overvaluing Kobe. There was talk about LA using the amnesty of Kobe this year and with the exodus of Dwight, LA is in full fledged rebuilding mode. Kobe is not only old but coming off a major injury. He will still have leadership abilities but i highly doubt he is the same player he was, especially since he started showing his age prior to his injury.

I'd totally consider giving up my scrubs/expirings for Kobe. I think he would be a good fit over the next 2 years and I think Kander could really benefit him as well but I'd be damned if I'm giving up any first round draft considerations for him.
