What kinda contract monroe get next summer?

Monroe is nowhere near the player Wall is and never will be though.

Yeah because Wall has accomplished so much more in this league than Monroe. He's made the All-Star....wait, no. He's led his team to the play.....wait, no. Ummmm well he's better than Monroe by leaps and bounds because he has a cool name like John Wall. And he can run fast. Even if you think he is better, if $80 million is the starting point, how much does Moose get?

Wall hasn't done more than Monroe in this league... Wall had a good couple of months to end the year right before he was eligible for a contract extension. Not saying that he can't or won't continue on those few good months but overall Monroe has had 3 solid years for us... Wall hasn't been that great overall for Washington.

Kevin Love hasn't led Minnesota to the playoffs so I guess he isn't better than Monroe either huh? Monroe peaked in his 2nd season, Wall will continue to improve and they will definitely make the playoffs this season. Wall is superior to Monroe for the same reasons Drummond is, if you can't figure out what i'm referring to you probably shouldn't be posting on these boards.

I would trade Monroe for Love in a second. Kevin Love is my 2nd favorite player behind Drummond though.

Let another team offer him the max, and then match. He's going to get paid that much anyways, so you may as well take the safer, 4 year deal as opposed to offering 5. And I say this full knowing he's our best player.
