PED use in the NBA vs Pistons
Not trying to speculate which players or teams might be using PEDS, but wondering what everyone's thoughts about PED use in the NBA is, and whether Detroit might be victims from others cheating their way through the rigorous 82 game season.
It has always puzzled me why older players seem to be able to handle logging long minutes vs rookies and sophomores. Normally youth has more energy and is able to heal quicker. My thought is that it takes the young players a few seasons to realize how demanding the season is, and eventually they see what the other guys are doing to stay healthy and on the court - perhaps through un-natural means?

I think there is always a chance that some players might be using some "un-natural" supplements...
but until it's proven it's just speculation

Re: PED use in the NBA vs Pistons
Do players use PED's? Of course! You think it was a coincidence that the same season the Magic make it to the finals, Rashard Lewis is busted for using PEDs by the league and is suspended for the beginning of the next season? Additionally, Lewis was never as good as he was after that season.
I believe Carlos Boozer juiced when he was in Utah. He had all the physical signs of it. LeBron and Wade have been accused by people online of using PEDs an uncountable amount of times.
I think the witch hunt for athletes who have used PEDs is completely overblown. The fact that the federal government even became involved was f'ing ridiculous and complete and utter waste of tax payer dollars.
But, to speculate about who was using what and when and how it effected certain teams? That's a little much in of itself.

I assume just about every athlete is using some type of PEDs at this point, and it doesn't really bother me.

I dont agree,I think the feds had to get involved, the owners arent going to do anything about it and iam sure the players that dont use are also happy to have an outsider come in and have no afiliation to the league deal with it.I do agree its bull that our taxes pay for it.
You know some players in the NBA are on it,take a look at wayne, its pretty obvious and the fact that the league dosent do anything about it (unless your a pain in the ass to the league) is disgusting, its gotten to the point that players arent even trying to hide it anymore and it takes away from the truly great players of the past and present that didnt have to use and had god given talent.

You make some valid points, Kurtis.
But, it's just sports, it's entertainment. I don't want to get into a political debate, but there were more pressing issues happening economically at the time, that should have required these moron's attention.

Sorry, misunderstood what you were getting at. I totally agree,, in the scheme of things ,that the feds should have better things to do.

Re: PED use in the NBA vs Pistons
At least 3/4 of the league is on some form of PEDs. The NBAs testing is the worst and they dont test for HGH I believe.
I would bet w/o PEDs we wouldnt have as much success as much as we have cheated.
Instead of refusing to test just make its usage mandatory.

Can't really say that. I know some distance runners that did test back in the day who were Olympic athletes and they certainly didn't come close to resembling body builders or what you would think of as typical juicers. Just enhanced recovery.
I've actually changed my mind and believe a lot of players are on something. I BELIEVE though I could be wrong that the policy is 2 tests per year and once you've done that you're home free till next year. I'm sure they don't test for HGH either which really needs to be run on long cycles anyways so probably no way that gets tested for anytime soon as i'm sure the union would drag their feet.
I do think that a stimulant would be the most likely thing to get abused going into the playoffs etc.
All in all I don't mind and can't say for sure I wouldn't so the same thing in their shoes.

If this team has been using PEDs and they still sucked this bad the past few years than we are more screwed with this team than I ever thought!

They all look like PED users. If you have that little body fat most likely you are useing something to burn it.

I had a Jennings build in 11th grade (2.5 years ago). I have never used PED. Thees guys are just naturally skinny dudes with high metabolisms. I know a lot of people like that. If anything it would be more advantageous to use PED's to gain weight if you had that build...

I had 4% body fat in the 11th grade. I have 35% today. Welcome to your future. You may not know it but you arent going to stay young and bullet proof forever.

Your missing my point... My point was that Jennings ans Tayshuan are naturally skinny guys who I doubt theyre on PED. Just because you're that skinny doesn't mean your taking a PED. Theese guys are playing 82 games in a season and working out all the time. And they're also young.
