I liked how Dre was patient on that play and let the other defenders get pulled out of the area before he started his move.

Seeing this gives me hope that Dre can become dominant offensively. Look at the balance, the form, the power.

Wow you guys need to relax. I've never seen so much overreaction to one post play lol. Gotta love preseason basketball...

Greg Monroe is now shooting 82% (18/22) from the FT line in preseason.

Our ACTUAL guards haven't even been playing...
Talk about overreaction to preseason. Most of these rotations you will never see again during the season.
Everyone just take a breathe...Christ.

What does our guards have to do with the fact that Smith and Monroe have always averaged a high amount of turnovers?

Because the real actual proven low turnover guards BJ and Chauncey will control more of the possessions when they come back. They also will be able to get the bigs the ball in better positions so that they don't have to do the playmaking.

I highly doubt that. Their post games just aren't that efficient regardless of where they are on the floor.

They were streaming the Nets Jumbotron with their radio guy as play by play.

Brandon Knight wouldn't miss a game due to a toothache. And I'd much rather have Middleton backing up Smith than the poo poo platter we offer up there now.

Hey Milwaukee how about a trade back?

I am not really a Brandon Knight fan and Middleton is just a decent guy who may not find any PT on our team, BUT there is no way I want Jennings back.

Hope he works out for you guys.

Clearly, BTW, you lie when you say you hope Jennings works out for us. But thanks for playing.

Knight's an NBA rotation player because he plays and works so hard, and he is very talented. He probably isn't the type of PG who will help your team maximize its talents. He needs great low post players and great shooters surrounding him, and I don't think this year's version of the Bucks will provide him with that. But, you'll love his defense, and he'll have his moments. You guys are likely a lottery team, and depending on how things develop, Knight might well be a player who is a rotation player, maybe even a starter on good Bucks teams when they rise again. -- and I do like your young talent base. Giannis is impressive. Love Henson. Like Sanders ---- really, this isn't a bad group to move forward with. Giannis could be a star, and you might mind star #2 in the strong 2014 draft, and on a team like that Henson and Sanders - neither of whom will ever be top 20 players - could be an outstanding core.

As for Middleton, he was really growing on Pistons fans. His problem might be that he'll end up playing behind Giannis in short order, and might not get much of a chance to play and develop. That would be a shame. I think he could be a fine pro. When he plays, he plays smart, moves the ball very well, and has a strong offensive game.

I like Brandon Knight. I believe your expectations are well placed, and you may be pleasantly surprised by what he'll become as a player. However, I doubt the Pistons will be a lottery team. There's a few key areas as to why the Pistons had an annual chair at the lottery. The lack of rebounds and the horrible amount of turnovers.

Knight for Jennings would have been a plus for Detroit in regards to TO's, but they have Josh Smith to fill that void unfortunately.

It appears Detroit will win the boards on most nights, and if they continue to pound the paint similar to what we're witnessing today, they're a 7th seed at best. 40-44 wins isn't a stretch with this squad.
