Trade Bynum or do something which involves not giving him so much minutes.

Bynum is good in small doses. The problem is he's usually so good in that limited time that it tempts the coach to play him more. Then the moment he gets a taste of extended minutes he thinks he's the star of the team. We need to get more ball movement on offense and Bynum is like the anti-ball movement PG. I thought Siva did a good job, but we definitely need to start Chauncey opening night. Can't afford to let Bynum turn the game into the Bynum Experience and cost us important games early on.
Yeah, he's nowhere near starter material and is decent sparkplug off the bench. That's it.

Even if its just that, I still don't see him belonging here much longer since we have Siva as insurance in case Chauncey or Stuckey go down.

Cheeks not doing anything in a preseason game = horrible coach

KCP has 1 good start = automatic starter

Guys its the mofo'n preseason. When regular season starts, our team , lineups and performances are going to look completely different. Can we fire our coach after at least 1 regular season game?

pope is proving EVERY game that he has everything we need for the starting SG position. he has all the quickness and length to hint he could be a lockdown defender, and then the ability to get out on the break and finish, aswell as continually getting high rebounding numbers. the only thing left is to prove his shooting ability which was his main strength according to scouts, so when we see that in a game, how can we not jump to those statements?

This is all based off non regular season NBA games, NBA games and everything else is literally apples and oranges. Defenses are tighter, players aren't holding back, better players are in for longer periods, atmosphere. Everything about it is different. Don't get me wrong , after this performance i'm even more optimistic, but KCP could very well end up having a amazing couple preseason games and being a non factor this year .

The only real gripe I have is too much 1-on-1 and 2-man basketball on offense. There needs to be more ball movement amongst all 5 guys. Not just this game but that's something I've noticed in all games. I think once Jennings and Chauncey get back and we have 5 legit scoring options they will share the ball more equally.

KCP looks like the only player on this team with a clue on how to play good/correct defense. Everyone is athletic but take terrible angles, dont get into a good defensive stance, and leave open shooters by collapsing too often. Drummond this especially applys too, extremely athletic but just not a good on the ball defender

3/6 this time.

But I feel pretty optimistic that he'll keep it up.

yeah, you could tell that he was pressing after he missed the first two. Not only on free throws but on offense too. Then once he got one to go, he made three straight, and then followed it by swishing one of his hook shots.

I want him to improve on free throws, but don't want it to become so important to him that its affecting the rest of his game based on makes/misses.

Went to the game last night. I was happy to see KCP finally hitting some shots, but my god was he taking some idiotic ones in the second half. Otherwise, only Siva left an impression on me - he looks like a very capable third string pg. Moose looked disinterested and was just lobbing long contested jumpers all night.

The arena was was about 2/3 full, but the crowd was fantastic. I went to a couple Pistons regular season games last year at the Palace and I can confidently say that the crowd at United Center was a lot louder and more fanatic than any at the Palace over the past four years. Of course, comparing Chicago and Auburn Hills isn't fair, but I hope the crowd at the Palace starts to resemble the early 2000 self.

Well, and the fact that this was Rose's coming home party of sorts probably helped the extra loudness that night.

Sure, but it's not my first game at United Center. Literally every game is like that. I mean, the crowd was chanting MVP after the Bulls' rookie, Tony Snell, hit his forth shot of the night. It's just a different atmosphere. That said, the best crowd I've ever seen was either in Sacramento during the Adelman years or the current Golden State crowd.
