I don't see how Drummond/Monroe/JSmoove is all that different than Gasol-Randolph-Gay/Prince.
The difference is no one in the Pistons front court has been as good as a jumpshooter as Marc Gasol.

Though Tay struggled mightily with his jumper in the playoffs. Probably not the best example though, since the Grizzlies inability to shoot was sited as a major reason for their struggles in the playoffs.
But yes, even the Grizz have better front court shooting than we do. We have 3 of the weakest mid range shooters in the league in our starting front court.
