Jennings will be middling right around 39% year. I hope you are all prepared for that.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

Jennings is an infinitely better distributor than Knight.

*I'm* a better distributor than Knight.

Jennings has his flaws, but Knight is never going to cut it as a PG in the NBA, mark my words. He can play, he could be a good instant offense 6th man type with some experience, and his defense is pretty good already, but holy crap, he has the worst instincts of a supposed PG I've ever seen.

It's not like he's a dumbass, either. Very smart guy, very hard worker, very big heart. Just not capable.

Doubt you're a better distributor than him but I agree with the rest of your post.

He may still make as a starting PG though. I wish him the best, I really like him.

Mojo, moxie, call it what you will, BJ has it. He competes hard and seems to care. However, he needs to better run the team and set teammates up. I haven't been impressed with his use of teammates off penetration in the half court. BJ has great handles and quicks. I think it's too early to draw conclusions as to whether they can establish an effective chemistry.

You're probably right, but so far he's looked under control for the most part. He's taking good shots and he's attacking when we're down late in games, so i can understand his poor FG%.
With a little more time i could see him developing some good chemistry with our front court and he'll get his assists up and that'll make up for his FG% ... hopefully

I think by the end of the year Jennings should shoot above 42% being once he gets acclimated while having scoring bigs for a change, he will have more opportunities for open shots than before.

a lot of people don't realize he was doing a lot of that in Milwaukee. he has the 'westbrook mentality' in that sense.

On the flip side, BJ is the complete opposite, as you will learn in time. Capable, talented, but will not use it to the best of his abilities, and one of his weakest points is defense. Sure, he'll get you steals, but will not stay in front of his man.

If Nash was able to have a long career as a starter in the NBA while being horrible on Defense, then I just hope Jennings makes up for his deficiencies by being exceptional in other categories.
