Asik's contract is bad for us since he wouldn't work with Dre. They already tried that with Dwight and it ended up as a colossal failure that McHale stopped after a couple of games. He would have to come off the bench which is, again, bad for the contract.

I love Lin, and he's a better PG than Jennings is, since he plays smarter and can literally get anybody involved if he has the ball in his hands, but I'm fine with having Jennings, even if they're roughly getting the same contract right now.

Jones is good, but I think it would set us back too far at the PF position.

Parsons is solid, another one of those fringe All-star guys who can do it all, would be a decent alternative to Smith playing the 3. EDIT: As I type this, Parsons is flirting with a triple double, going 4/5 from the 3 and 9 asts.

I think we lose too much from this for it to happen. Plus it's Morey, one of the most ruthless GMs in terms of trading and ripping off.

We could always flip Asik somewhere else, making this a 3-way deal...

It would have to be a three way deal. Asik wants to get traded because he wants to start. He would not be happy backing up Drummond.

But does this really make Houston better? I mean, if all of you think that this big frontcourt thing is a disaster, why would Houston trade to replicate it, but with Howard instead of Drummond? It doesn't make sense.

If Asik is blowing a fit playing with Dwight what makes you think he won't do the same when playing with Drummond?

If your plan it to tank, that's a nice trade. Except, make Jennings outgoing as well.

Let Asik and Drummond play together, only boosts the tank-a-thon.

Yeah this deal man no sense. I really would rather have Jennings and Monroe right now over an injured Rondo.

Has nobody noticed what Jones has been doing since replacing Asik in the starting lineup?

He's been averaging 13 points, 9 rebounds, 2 blocks while shooting 55% from the field (including 50% from 3).

No, but we've noticed what you're doing which is stinking up the forum with horrible trades.

I'm 6'4" and sure that if I started next to Dwight that I could do the same thing!
