I don't understand why so many people want to move Monroe...from where I'm sitting, I see one of the best young bigs in the league who can work with his back to the basket, is a willing and effective passer and is the best decision maker on the team...and he's a restricted FA next year so you could actually keep him.

Then again, while I watch every Pistons game, I'm not a "Pistons fan" per se, so it's kinda one of those "on the outside looking in" things I guess. Maybe I'm missing something? As far as I can see, the problems on this team are the bench and Josh Smith/Brandon Jennings atrocious shot selection at key moments in games. I'd be stoked if my team were to either trade for or sign Monroe away from Detroit in the offseason.

It's not Monroe's fault the franchise is screwed by the FO

Trading him away for Parsons is laughable.

But the Pistons should start playing games with him and Josh Smith in the frontcourt and Drummond of the bench.
Or do they want Higgins?

I like monroe as a player, the only problems I have are things that can be fixed quite easily with him, which are whineing about every call and when things arent going his way he tends to give up (especialy on defense). In my opinion moose is a center and should play his main minutes there, but now that we have smith (who is a better pf) and dre, moose is the odd man out, moose can also fetch us good players back that will balance out this team alot more.Thats why iam also in favor of the anderson/gordon trade,

Det trades-monroe,cv,and 1 of bynum,singler,jonas
Pelicans trade-anderson,gordon,withey

Return to Detroit Pistons
