kilo made a good point, if Dre touched the ball, miami would just foul and send him to the line, 32% on the year, and i think it dropped after tonight. early on in games i wouldn't mind it though

who cares, repetition can only help. Hes gonna have to get better at the line eventually.

Hes going to be our #1 option down the line & teams will foul him.

got to disagree bud, if we are trying to maintain a lead especially when another team is making a run, giving it to dre just for touches doesn't make sense, unless its a lob at the rim. His reps will come during hack a dre

We are the 6 seed right now-the East sucks this season, fortunately for us. Its wide up, we could finish as high as the 3 seed.

We won this game because of Kyle Singler IMO, without his shooting- the game is over. We need shooters to perform well. We have a great inside the paint game but are woeful out on the perimeter. Get our shooters to shoot, or trade for some shooters that can shoot and we should be solid.

Also, hopefully KCP keeps up his shooting. He's had a solid last couple of games and hopefully it builds confidence in his shot. Jennings had some good shots but on the whole he was a mixed bag last night and Greg was super quiet until the 2nd half where he just beasted. Miami had no answer for him in the post and he did a solid job passing as well.

Last night I was really impressed with Singler, Stuckey, Monroe and Drummond.

The team needs shooters. It can't be anymore obvious than that.

Who cares? A lot of fans live and die with wins. Dumars needs to make the playoffs, Gores wants to make the play-offs.

Drummond has to find a way to stay out of foul trouble though. a couple of his fouls were unnecessary.

the Jennings 3 and strip on LeBron were huge, huge plays. couldn't believe either of those happened to be honest.

Which fouls were unnecessary, his 2nd and 3rd were clean , but bosh yelled so the foul was called.

Does anyone else think they'd like to see a forearm shiver delivered to that giraffe neck?

I couldn't agree more. We are seeing Jennings transform into a PG and Singler was great playing off the ball. He made some nice back-cuts and even Jerebko made a nice dive to the hoop for a flush when Monroe alertly passed him the ball on the cut. They are moving better without the ball as a team and it's nice to see some semblance of an offense now. There was much more movement than at the beginning of the season where everyone stood around and watched the dribbler. It may just start to be gelling a bit.

How you connected my "Who cares" to winning games & not making the playoffs is beyond me.

we had an 11-13 pt lead & the Heat were so undersized they had Beasley on Drum & Battier on Monroe & we didnt run 1 set for either of them.

As for Drum getting touches, that should be the number 1 priority. Drum's development is the clear #1 priority. Thats our key to winning anything of substance again.

Well, since we won last night...probably means we'll lose tonight. Inconsistency is our game!

The fact that playing .500 ball will get you the 3rd seed in the East right now is insane.

Just finished watching the first half and some change. Miami was really sloppy out there. However, Detroit's P&R defense looked a LOT better than usual. Hopefully, that's the start of something new for the Pistons.

Offensively, this game may have been an anomaly for Detroit. I don't want to get excited about that brand of basketball.
