Barnes for Monroe straight up... need for need.
We might include Singler & Speights (once restrictions are lifted).
You'll have to find another taker for Lee unless you can work out a 3 way.

I like Barnes and he has potential, but just as a straight up trade, seems like we get the short end of that one in the present. Barnes 13 ppg on 47% shooting, if that's all we needed out of our SF right now, might as well just start Singler and keep Monroe.

For Singler to start, Monroe needs to go. I am not sure if that is what Piston fan wants right now.

I would do Barnes and Lee for Josh. That's about it

Very tempting. As crazy as it sounds, I worry that dealing Stuckey will screw us in the short term, though. More Will Bynum scares me.

I like David Lee, defensive warts and all, but I wonder if he'd be worth a crap on our team. He rebounds pretty well and can make the open shots that the Warriors' perimeter game provides, but what would he do on our team? Also, is he our new 6th man? He probably wouldn't like that much.

I'm sure Golden State would not want to do that deal.

Monroe is closer to an All-Star than Barnes will be. Hence, No thank you.

Right now, yes, for sure. And since they're both cheap right now, Monroe is the guy you'd rather have. That all changes next year.

This is Andre's team. Whatever works with Andre is what we have to do. Maybe Monroe will still work -- I'm not saying that's an impossibility -- but I have serious doubts.
