It's early to know if they will gel as a group. The offense stagnates and it's not just a matter of individual chucking--the ball just doesn't move well to open better looks at the basket. This should improve with time playing together. KCP is still way too young to judge his offensive development though I know it's frustrating he isn't the lights out shooter we expected.

Our defense just looks lethargic too often and I can't put my finger on where they are failing as a group. Dre still has a lot of developing to do and we've raised expectations way too high so early. This is his first year of real starter minutes. I'm sure that will come. I still think it's going to take time for them to mesh as a team. I never expected it to happen quickly. I'm reserving judgement on Cheeks. I still think he needs time before he's judged and I think there are a lot of positives compared to the Frank/Kuester/Binary era.

Bingo. Some folks expectations were clearly overreactions, but thats sports fans for you.

Not shocking at all. They have improved a ton since Game 1 in certain areas. Others, not so much.
