This post is nonsense and doesn't reflect what actually happened in the 4th quarter- the notion that Jennings/Smith tried to play in the post but our bigs couldn't score is patently false. Greg Monroe had 1 FGA, so I am not sure how you can imply that Greg/Drummond missed 5 consectuive FG when they only took a combined 2 FGA in the 4th. Greg simply was not given many opportunities to score in the post in the 4th Q. And Drummond only touched it on offensive put backs.

Jennings and Smith needed to realize that KCP, Drummond and Monroe were the reason we were winning the game and shouldve given them more touches instead of deciding to chuck the ball themselves. Had they not gone 2 of 12 in the 4th- we probably would've won this game.

This team is so frustrating. Although Brandon Jennings makes me shake my head quite a bit, he shows the most emotion out there and it's good to see. I can't remember who said t but a poster on this board made a comment along the lines of "all of our players are used to losing at the NBA level" and that is so true. Nobody is hungry, our team just seems to go with the flow and if they win they win and if they lose they lose.

Do the pistons run any plays on offense, either? It seems like Jennings brings the ball up, dances around the perimeter and hopes for something to happen. Why was KCP not involved in the offense in the second half? Why does the combination of Bynum/Billups/Datome see the light of day?

If I was Cheeks, I would sit these guys down and (with emotion for once) get them all on board with working hard day in and day out. Test them in practice and the people who show up every day ready to go all out play. I have a feeling Singler,Jennings, Jerebko, and Harrelson would come out on top if that were the case, and it would force Smith/Monroe/Drummond to amp it up and play harder than ever.

I know I said that. They may have won in college but eventually you become numb to losing at the pro level and for some players the game becomes a paycheck. I'm sure everyone wants to win but you don't want it to get to the point where they shrug if they lose. But it might be too late already for some of our players.
