False. Raja Bell was the prototypical 3&D guy. He never showed the ability to score at the level Afflalo has this season. It hasn't resulted in many wins, but that has more to do with the Magic's level of talent right now. He's not just a spot up shooter offensively. He can put the ball and the floor and is pretty decent working out of the post as well.

Ok, rich man's Raja Bell then. Take away some of the stuff you've mentioned, you have Raja Bell. Good range, good on defense. And as I said, he's good for a team that's great but not so for average teams. Which is what we are at the moment.

Take away LeBron's elite athleticism and play making and you have Anthony Mason. See how that works and how ridiculous that is?

Anthony Mason was actually a pretty good passer.

Kinda my point. Oversized SF that could do some of everything on the court. So by the previous logic he's a poor man's LeBron.

Well, I think its a moot point anyway.

A "rich man's Raja Bell" is a pretty damned good player anyway.

Guys, this is a steal of a trade, and I don't even want to trade Monroe. Fact is that we're getting a pair of quality players who are signed for a few years for a pair of rentals who in sum are not a lot better than them, although they are better players right now. Afflalo is a perfect fit for us until KCP finds his shot, and coming off the bench may get KCP to call his own number more. Harris is a quality forward with a lot of development still to go, and would move JSmoove to his better position, at least defensively. I like Moose, but if we really like him, we can just sign him as a FA. This isn't as good for Orlando as they have no need to move AA of Harris, and Monroe is a questionable fit next to Vucevic.

Seriously would be an hell of a steal. Both are two of my favorite players in the league, both very fun to watch. I'm mad at Chad for even bringing it up because now I want it to happen so bad and I know it won't.
