Analysis: The Pistons Overcome the Suns Thanks to Josh Smith

A breakdown video I made of last nights Suns and Pistons game of the last few plays. Let me know what you thought of those last few plays.

You did a great job. However, I disagree with a couple of your points.

1. On the final Pistons basket, Tucker did the right thing by staying home on Monroe. If he had went to double the ball handler, Monroe would've been open. Green is not going to rotate over to Monroe, and if he did, would have terrible positioning against a man much bigger than him.

2. You said you though Dragic should inbound that ball on that last play. With that little time on the clock, you're going for a jumpshot. Dragic is probably one of their best shooters. He's an excellent decoy on that final play and their best scorer.

1. You're right Green would be out matched in size for the rebound, but I still feel the rotation needed to help on Smith.
2. Yeah this one is really a toss up. Dragic was a nice decoy, but also, he may have been able to make that pass to Plumlee better than Tucker. Maybe have Barbosa as the decoy?
