What will Joe Dumars do?

He will probably sign Andrew Bynum, because we already have a good Center so we should just go and get another one who isn't as good. Than we can have the Jennings, smoove, moose, dre, bynum line-up because in the playoffs you gotta have size when the game slows down.

I do believe there is a trade coming soon involving Greg Monroe. I could never really guess Dumars' trades and they happen out of nowhere usually. I definitely see a trade coming soon involving Greg. I don't think Smith will be traded as he's a proven player and plays better with Drummonf when he's a PF. I think we will get a SF that can shoot the ball. I HOPE that we trade for Harrison Barnes. I would do a straight swap of Barnes for Monroe. I think that's a fair trade. Even though Monroe is the better player, I do feel Barnes fits fantastically on this team. If not, then I'd LOVE to get Afflalo. Maybe he could start at SF but that would also be a great trade in my opinion. I definitely see a Monroe trade coming soon. I don't believe the coach will be fired as of yet. I think a trade will happen before the coach gets fired. Drummond will get another player around him that can shoot. This will improve our offense and defense greatly. I hope it happens soon. The front court experiment is over with. We need shooters. If we are serious with building around Drummond, this NEEDS to happen.

Though I don't always agree with Chad Ford he made sense in his latest chat when talking about the Pistons.

"There were best case scenarios and worst case scenarios for the team Detroit fielded this year. So far, they are living up to the worst possible case scenarios as Josh Smith and Brandon Jennings continue to shoot them out of games. Their best hope is to turn Greg Monroe into a sweet shooting wing that allows Smith to move the four. They aren't going to be able to move Smith or Jennings and Andre Drummond is untouchable. Monroe will be the key. If they can get a legitimate shooter, things might balance out."

Terry Foster was with the media after the Knicks game and when Cheeks was asked what's the next step he said "I have no idea." Not the answer a coach usually gives. Despite all of the issues with Cheeks rotation, Dumars was the one that assembled this team, he either fixes it or gets canned.

Think about it. If I'm Gores, i may be new to basketball but I'm not illiterate. My staff and I are analytical and we make good decisions for a living.

Do you really think they are going to sign off on a stupid trade to undo a stupid signing?

They read blogs. They see what's going on with other smarter teams like Phoenix, Boston, Philadelphia.

Anyone can see the horrible coaching and the clueless interviews "nothing you can do about missed shots and 50/50 balls, their guys just made shots and got the 50/50 balls"

They are basically waiting for Joe Dumars to UNDO his bad decisions, or get fired. They are not going to let him double down on his eye test big name shopping spree type of decision making skills.

Good thing: Dumars will either change his decision making process drastically, AND demonstrate it with a trade/new coach, or he is a sitting duck.

Something good is going to happen, or this season will be sacrificed.

I think Joe Dumars moves are officially over. Don't think he's going to be the one who's allowed to undo anything. Maybe Gores tells him he can take a consultant role and allow him to facilitate a blow-up...however I doubt it. He can bring in someone else who's less attached to blow it up.
